Trend Alert

Woowzas….. We have a trend alert on our hands ….

Beyoncé has done it again folks … we were taken aback with this looook so you know we had to share it with everyone!!!

She looked FABOULOUS as she was hitting all the right notes with the Technicolour and Geometric trends, her use of colour blocking brights was soooo LUSH!!!. For the shirt the strong zigzag lines in clashing colours and patterns added so much character to the outfit. This gorgeous selection and mixture of pinks, black, whites, and yellow matched her skin tone. We love how she clashed the shirt with these stunning tailored bright pink trousers and finished the look off with the neutrals and black, the nude killer heels (minimal trend) helped tone down the look whilst the black shades and bracelet calmed the Aztec shirt.

‘Fashion is architecture: it is a matter of proportions.’ Coco Chanel

We have been obsessed with vintage accessories at the age of 11 when our mum showed us a pair of beautiful classic vintage earrings. From that day OBSESSED wouldn’t be able to describe our infatuation with the collection.

We feel that every girl must own a piece regardless their generation, it’s a classic everlasting piece. Coco Chanel stood for women all over the world that’s why her pieces are so relatable on a huge scale, not all designers can achieve this level. The year of her ‘out of the world’ costume jewellery 1930’s, it definitely took hold of the women in that era as so many French women were engulfed in her fabulous pieces. Her pieces were always a statement, the boldness in the jewellery representing strength of women and the simple designs representing the classy women. PURELY DIVINE. Her pieces definitely make you want to jump back into her era.

Her popular pieces always tended to be antique gold designs, chains, faux pearls it is still surreal and timeless. To get a piece of her lavish classics will cost you a bit more in the present times averaging around £1000 depending the piece (you can still get some pieces lower than a £1000). We will give you the links of websites that proof check the authenticity of the Chanel jewellery, to ensure you are still getting a real memory of Coco Chanel.

Let us have a look at some of Coco’s timeless pieces:

Chanel Vintage Jewellery – golden 1994 MOP bangle £1,518

Chanel Vintage Jewellery – golden Chanel pendant necklace

1970’s Vintage Chanel Faux Pearl Earrings £195

1980’s Vintage Chanel Elegant Pendant £995

There are more pieces available at these websites: Susan Caplan and Stylebop.com

(BTW always ensure verification of the pieces if buying it on your own on other websites)

Beyonce shows us once again why she is the best in the BUSINESS! (Go Bey :-D) and she doesn’t disappoint.  This is her first appearance back on her mantelpiece, since giving birth to her gorgeous daughter baby Ivy. Can we all say she looked AMAZING, as it’s only been 5 months and that comeback was like no other.

She looked amazing and you could tell she was happy to be there, there was definitely a glint in her eye. The fashion trends on stage as usual was bang on trend …. thumbs up bey.

Beyonce style was so on point with her gorgeous cropped top with a gorgeous Swarovski crystal embellishment on the neck line, with frills to die for. Also the mini skirt assorted with frills, will not distract. The crop top was ideal showing her post body, she has lost around 60 pounds and those abs …. Go Bey! She had beautiful costume changes which were all custom made by Ralph & Russo.

She started the show off with one of our favourites song on the 4 album ‘End of Time’ which was so suited for the comeback show. Later followed off with successful songs throughout her career solo hits and classic Destiny’s child tracks. Among the dancers she had the well known French duo Les Twins who was included in the show. Her dance moves as filled with so much energy, many peers and fans tweeted she was better dancer than her back up dancers. Some people went further into saying it was the best show ever and she has made history 😉 and we agree. Best performer of all time.

Beyonce also covered Lauryn Hill’s  ‘Ex Factor’ no words can be said but breathtaking. She gave a sweet tribute to Donna Summer during her ‘naughty girl’ performance sampling ‘love to love you baby’ by the late disco queen. For Bey’s late Idol Whitney Houston she performed ‘I will always love you’ emerging it to ‘halo’.  Such a fantastic show no wonder all the seats in the house was sold out.

Among the many star guests which arrived the first lady Michelle Obama was there to support our girl Bey with her daughters Melia and Sasha. Also her hubby Jay Z gave the best support tweeting “I’m gonna say this and then I’m gonna end mine. BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period.”

In saying this, there is nothing more to add but Thankyou to Beyonce in showing us hard work pays off ;-).

As always our beautifuls stay loyal xxxx mwah
